Gisele De Santi’s Return: Connect Brazil This Week

Connect Brazil’s weekly digest keeps you informed and up to date with the best of Brazil. What will you discover?

What’s Happening at August 1 -7, 2021

Gisele De Santi’s return to our streaming station and our music channels is always welcome and we’re sure that your ears will agree! Learn more about this talented vocalist from Sao Paulo below. Topical stories, songs, and more waiting on the homepage at Connect Brazil.

Winner of Connect Brazil’s Song of the Year award in 2013, Gisele De Santi began her career in the bustling southern city of Porto Alegre, far from Rio’s sun-kissed beaches.

But the message in her music is the same: “You wanted a song, and I gave you a style,” she sang in ‘E Eu’; a clever turn of phrase which suggests that Brazil’s pop sound is in good hands.

Just released, her latest love song is called ‘Todo Espaço’, a story of waiting and wanting. “Come live in my embrace. It can take up all the space. There’s no love greater than ours,” she sings.

Don’t miss our streaming debut of Gisele De Santi’s ‘Todo Espaço’ this Friday!

Be sure to join me for Brazil Back2Back, when I’ll play a pair of Gisele De Santi’s song songs on our streaming station this Friday (8/6). Top of the hour, at 11 am, 2 pm, and 5 pm CT for two in a row.

Use the Connect Brazil Listening Lounge: Always free, always live.

Brazilian Art Week: Street art is symbolic of the world we live in today, and Sao Paulo is home to many graffiti grifters. Still, the results can be impressive, like this mural created for the 2016 Olympics.
